This is the World War I draft registration card for Frank X. Hoetzlein:

Frank X. is also found in the 1920 US Census (bottom of the page) listed with the occupation "Water Works", and parents from Germany.

The 1910 US Census lists Anna Hoetzlein, mother of Frank X., as 71 years old from Bavaria, Germany (Aschaffenburg is a town in the province of Bavaria).
John had died before this (1870s?).
Children John and Lewis are listed below Anna (at the very bottom of the page).
Emma, Barbara, Annie and Mary Rosh are on the next page (not shown here).
Frank X. and Margaret were born later (possibly?).

About the name Hoetzlein:
Aschaffenburg is a small town in Bavaria, a state in the southern part of Germany. I recently met some Germans from Bavaria, who gave me some interesting info on the name Hoetzlein. In German, the sound 'hoetz' is most similar to the word for "wood", which is 'holz'. And the ending 'lein' is a common adjective most similar in sound to 'klein', which means "little". Thus, the origin of the name Hoetzlein is most likely a derivation of Holzlein, or "little wood".
